Lightyears — new album for 2005!
"Lightyears is a musical story of how our world probably could end in 7 billion years and how mankind will try to survive. When the Sun collapses it will also eliminate our whole solar system. So what will mankind do to survive? Well, in my imagination they're leaving the Earth by a spaceship to travel to another Class M Planet. In Lightyears, I have tried to describe this long travel in a musical way." Guido Meyer

Guido Meyer: A Brief Story
| 1971 | Born and raised in Worms /Germany. |
| 1978 | Started to play guitar at the age of seven by teaching him selfe. |
| 1987 | Produced first Demotape (“Guido Meyer”). First Live Gigs as” Guido Meyer Cooperation”. |
| 1988 | Second Demotape (“Guido Meyer 2”). |
| 1990 | Third and last Demotape (“Escape from the Darklands”). |
| 1992 | First time composing and recording with a MIDI Setup. Composed “The Glassforest” . A fourtyfive minutes New Age Symphonie. Started the Guitarprojekt “The Forgotten”, produced two Demotapes and played a lot of livegigs. |
| 1994 | Composed and recorded the very powerfull and energizing “Episodes”. Pure Synthesizer Music at it’s very best. Went to the SRG (“Scool of Rockguitar”) in Offenbach and developed his guitar skills. Acted as guitarteacher after that. |
| 1996 | Composed the “Installations”. A shorter collection of more natural sounding music. |
| 1997 | Founded the Techno and Elektro Projekt “ Park de lux “, recorded an Album and had some airplay all over Europe via “Evosonic Radio”. |
| 2003 | Moved to Switzerland and builded up first his own little Digital Studio. |
| 2004 | Remastered the first part of the ’94 recordings and released first CD-R “Episodes 1”. Recorded his new album “ Towards the blue horizon”. Albums reached airplay on several Radio stations. Feature in the dutch e-dition magazine. |
| 2005 | Released his new Album “Lightyears” and earned some respect in the Instrumental and electronic music scene. The title track made it's way to the e-dition magazine Sampler and the Worldwide Radio Airplay. |
| 2006 | Remastered the 1996 Music “Installations” and released it for the first time. |
| 2007 | Released his new album “Connected to the Dead”. |
